This month’s Self-Care Saturday is all about coming home to yourself. Life pulls us in many directions: family, work, caregiving, other expectations. And it’s easy to lose touch with who we are at our core.
That’s why we’re inviting you to spend two nourishing hours with us, reconnecting with your truest self through creativity, conversation, and care.
(And if you need help, shopping, we can send you a customized package containing all the materials you’ll need.)
An ornament is something you hang up and return to again and again. A reminder. A celebration. A story.
At this event, you’ll create your own ornament of the self that will be a handcrafted piece made from fabrics you bring that represent you:
Fabric that reminds you of a person you love
Fabric that reminds you of customs handed down through your family
A swatch of a color or pattern that makes your heart light up
Each piece of fabric and layer becomes a reflection of your story, your joy, your resilience.
And there’s no sewing involved.
Jaclyn will guide you through a reflective conversation on what it really means to “get back to self” and honor your voice, your needs, and your purpose.
Through story, journaling prompts, and discussion, Jaclyn will help you:
With Didi guiding you step by step, you’ll discover how play, color, and creativity can feed your soul. No sewing required. Just bring your own supplies (or order from us).
You’ll leave with:
We want your ornament to be both pretty and personal.
So before the event, we’re inviting you into a self-reflection fabric challenge:
Step 1: Choose 1–3 fabrics that represent YOU in some way.
Step 2: Share a photo and a short note about why you chose them.
Step 3: Post to social media using #OrnamentOfSelf Don’t forget to tag us @etchedcoaching and @didisewslove
This simple act of reflection starts your journey back to self before we even gather.
Prefer to keep your picture and story private? You can share it with us instead of posting on social media. Just submit it using the form below.
